Tremcar is a Quebec success story, founded in 1962 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Over sixty years, they’ve grown into one of the four largest tank trailer manufacturers in North America. Family-owned by the Tremblays, 500-plus employees, plants in Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S. With the acquisition of Citernes Bédard, a company founded in 1966, Tremcar deepened both its expertise and its lineup. Petroleum
The petroleum tanker is designed to haul fuel products: gasoline, diesel, ethanol and other petroleum byproducts. Since these are hazardous materials, it must meet Transport Canada’s TC-406/DOT-406 standard. Aluminum barrel with 1 to 6 compartments, total capacity ranging from 49,000 L to 61,000 L. Flexible configurations available: 2 to 6 axles, or B-train depending on your hauling needs.
Cement powder (pneumatic)
The pneumatic tanker is built for hauling dry bulk goods: cement, flour, plastic pellets, and more. Two configurations available: standard pneumatic or vacuum pneumatic, depending on your application. Since it doesn’t haul hazardous materials, it’s considered non-coded. Aluminum barrel with one or more compartments, capacity ranging from 1,000 to 2,800 cubic feet. Flexible configurations available: 2 to 6 axles, or B-train depending on your needs.
Chemical products
The chemical tanker is built for the safe transport of hazardous liquid products: acids, toxics, corrosives. To hit the road with these materials, it must meet Transport Canada’s strict standards (TC 407/DOT-407 or TC-412/DOT-412). Stainless steel barrel, with one or more compartments and varied capacities to fit your application. Flexible configurations available: 2 to 6 axles, or B-train depending on your hauling needs.
